TraversEd partners with the Schulich Executive Education Centre (SEEC) to offer three online courses when combined with a Tier III TGT can lead to a Professional Freight Forwarder (PFF) designation. These courses focus on: sales, client service and finance. Each course was designed with the logistics manager in mind, but is general enough that employees within any organization would benefit.

There are no prerequisites for these courses. These courses can be taken as independent study and provide great value for all who wish to improve their business acumen.

What certifications do I gain from these courses?

Each course offers a joint Schulich/TraversEd certificate of completion.

Who teaches the Schulich Management program?

Professors from the Schulich School of Business, who are experts in their fields, design and teach these courses.

When do these courses take place, and how long are they?

The sales and client services virtual class is held once per week and is 4 weeks long, and the finance course is 6 weeks long. This is an evening class on EST.

What is the total time commitment for each?

Each course contains recorded lectures, readings and/or assignments that must be completed before each live virtual class. The total commitment each week is 2 to 3 hours.

How is the course evaluated?

There is no exam for these courses, but attendance, active participation, and the completion of ALL assignments is mandatory.
